As part of our commitment to see change within our brand and our global community, we’re dedicating the month of May to our campaign for female entrepreneurship!!

To start us off, we are hosting Alix Grubel of Kenyabuzz. Having been in the industry for 10 years now, we’re interested in knowing how she made it through, the lessons she’s learnt and get her perspective on the entrepreneurial scene in Kenya for Women. If you didn’t know Kenyabuzz started as an event  and business and listing company and has now joined the Nation Media Group. As we female led organization we couldn’t be prouder than we are.

We see incredible female entrepreneurs EVERYWHERE and although women are starting companies at 1.5 times the national average, they are consistently poorly represented in tech, accelerators, co-working spaces and startup events around the world, so this month we are excited to continue the conversation around this. As an entrepreneur, what are some of the challenges you see fellow women faces in their journey? What steps have you taken to try and solve this?
